The pickup is definitely a GM product, about 25 years old. The Nissan appears to have been cut open.
This was the scene hours after, at about the same time the SFPD was dealing with another fatal accident this morning on the other side of town.
(Not one person at the SFPD believes that the officially-endorsed Vision Zero 2024 policy has a greater than zero percent chance of coming true.)
In any event, I’m still not used to seeing this level of investigation after an accident. Certainly this was not the standard two or three decades ago.
